IV Infusion Therapy

Recharge & Revitalize

IV infusion therapy is an efficient and convenient way not only to treat chronic illnesses, but also to refresh patients who are tired, run-down, or feeling sick.

A balanced blend of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants provided intravenously reaches target cells faster, allowing you to feel better faster than you would if taking them in oral supplement form. IV infusions are not meant to be used in isolation but as a complement to a healthy lifestyle.

The frequency of treatment will vary from person to person, but you can expect nutrient levels to remain elevated for 1-3 weeks after each treatment. Some may want to schedule weekly sessions for a chronic health condition while others may only seek treatment when they desire a boost in their physical or mental well-being.

IV Infusion Therapy

Elevating Wellness Efficiency

Are Infusions Safe?

Yes, infusions are very safe and utilized in medical facilities all over the world.

Because there is always a slight risk of an allergic reaction, we thoroughly screen and closely monitor every patient throughout the infusion.

Should any adverse reaction occur, our well-trained medical staff is more than equipped to handle it.

Are Infusions Painful?

Prior to the infusion, an IV will be started by a physician or physician assistant as painlessly as possible. We understand that for some, needles are distressing, so we do have methods of making IV insertion as comfortable as possible – just ask!

During the infusion, you may experience a cooling sensation along the hand/arm on which your IV was placed, however, this is typically painless.

How Long Will my Infusion Take?

All of our infusions take between 45-70 minutes to infuse. The speed of your infusion is specifically tailored to each infusion to maximize comfort and absorption. During this time, patients can recline, watch TV or a movie, sleep, read, listen to music, or just relax!

How Often Should I get an Infusion?

This is dependent on you and your needs. Some patients may receive IV therapy drips weekly for wellness or detox while others may come in as needed. Some receive a few infusions over several days when fighting off an acute illness, food poisoning, flu, or other bacteria/virus.

Migraine sufferers find that getting an IV at the first sign of symptoms can lessen its severity or prevent it altogether. Regardless of the reason or frequency, most people receiving IV therapy feel the effects almost immediately.

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a naturally occurring fat and water-soluble antioxidant, that plays a significant role in several metabolic processes in the body. It is found in foods such as red meat, spinach, broccoli, yams, carrots, beets, potatoes, and yeast. It is considered a “universal antioxidant” which means it not only demonstrates antioxidant function on its own but also assists in the production of other important antioxidants such as glutathione and several vitamins. ALA is essential for cell metabolism through its effects on mitochondria (the power sources of cells) and cellular energy production.

Researchers are investigating it as a potential treatment for stroke and other brain problems involving free radical damage, such as dementia. Studies have also shown that ALA helps diabetics by improving insulin sensitivity, lowering blood sugar levels, and healing damaged nerves that cause burning pain, itching, tingling, and numbness. Researchers are also investigating whether or not ALA carries anti-cancer properties.

Ingredients:

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
  • Sodium Bicarbonate

Indications:

ALA can support the treatment of any disease as an antioxidant, but is most commonly used for the following:

  • General immune support
  • Cancer support
  • Liver support (hepatitis)

Athletic Performance

This infusion is the best option for those starting an exercise program that will require a higher demand from the body. These infusions are not just for serious athletes, but also for all who are working out regularly to achieve a healthier physique and quality of life. During physical exercise, our bodies use up macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrates) for energy, as well as micronutrients such as B vitamins and amino acids.

Replenishing these nutrients often by diet alone is difficult and requires supplementation. When you do not manage this correctly it can lead to dehydration, soreness, fatigue, injury, muscle loss, and fat gain. This infusion has the important B vitamins with added ingredients to improve muscle recovery and help increase endurance and stamina. This is a great option for those training for marathons, triathlons, pre-season training, or just intense body shaping. These usually are provided in a series of 5-10 infusions depending on the timing of competition.

Ingredients:

  • B-complex

Late Night Out

Studies show that hangovers are caused by dehydration, inflammation, and oxidative stress, better known as the free radical response. Alcohol contributes to the reduction of important B vitamins and other nutrients especially with regular and heavy use. When you experience the symptoms of a hangover such as headache, upset stomach, vomiting, and fatigue, this IV therapy can help rehydrate, reduce inflammation, relieve headaches, and improve energy. Hangover be gone!

Migraine Relief

Greater than 20 million Americans suffer from migraine headaches, a vascular headache that can cause a disabling cascade of symptoms. Lifestyle modifications, specifically sleep and diet, can reduce the severity and frequency of migraines. When considering diet, there are some specific nutrients that can have a major impact on migraines. Research has found that magnesium levels affect serotonin, nitric oxide, and NMDA (N-methyl-D- aspartic acid), which are associated with blood vessel relaxation and are suspected to have a strong association with migraines. In the brain, fluctuating serotonin levels can send blood vessels into spasm and aggravate the symptoms of a migraine. There is scientific evidence showing that magnesium can aid in the prevention and treatment of migraine and cluster headaches. Researchers have found that some people who get migraines may not have enough energy stored in their brain cells. Riboflavin (vitamin B2) can help brain cells utilize energy and reduce headache symptoms.

Ingredients:

  • B-complex (including Riboflavin)
  • Methylcobalamin (B12)
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Lidocaine
  • Ketorolac
  • Sodium Bicarbonate

NAD+

Did you know that we inherit most, if not all, of our mitochondria from our mothers? Mitochondria have long been recognized as the powerhouse of our body, generating most of the chemical energy needed to power biochemical reactions in our body. And one of the most important contributors to mitochondrial health is NAD+.

NAD+ levels markedly decline with age, creating an energy deficit that decreases the body’s ability to retain youthful, healthy function. By age 50, a typical person may have only half of the NAD+ they did in youth, and by age 80, they will only have about 1% of NAD+ reserves. But even at younger ages, the rigors of modern-day life – stress, inflammation, poor diet, alcohol, and drug use – are also taking a toll on our NAD+ levels. This deficiency impedes our ability to fully benefit from nutrients and antioxidants that protect us from the forces of aging and disease.

One of the most impacted organs from NAD+ deficiency is the brain. Your brain is responsible for replenishing neurotransmitters, improving cognitive function, easing withdrawal from addictive substances, and overcoming anxiety, depression, and chronic or acute stress. It has also been shown to improve brain fog, cognitive impairment, “chemo brain”, and slow axonal degeneration (the decay of the brain and nerves).

Replenishing NAD+ by IV administration is often preferred as it is not well absorbed when taken orally.

There is growing evidence that the symptoms we associate with aging may be caused by the deterioration of our mitochondria and. Preserving the health of mitochondria is important to support healthy aging
NAD deficiency has been shown to have a direct correlation with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, autoimmune disorders, multiple sclerosis, and many more.

NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a derivative of niacin (vitamin B3).

This intravenous therapy is a strong blend of antioxidants that support strong cognition and healthy aging. Ideally, this IV should be used in a series of ten IVs to help support the repair mechanism in the body while strengthening brain function, bones, connective tissue, and energy.

IV Therapy

Greater than 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain, which can be mild or agonizing, intermittent or continuous, merely inconvenient or totally incapacitating. When pain persists, the nervous system can get wound up and remain overactive for months or even years and be both physically and emotionally taxing. The most frequent sources of pain come from headaches, joint pain, injury, and backaches.

The emotional toll of chronic pain also can make pain worse. Anxiety, stress, depression, anger, and fatigue can exacerbate chronic pain and may decrease the body’s production of natural painkillers. Moreover, such negative feelings may increase the amount of substances that amplify sensations of pain, compromising the body’s most basic defenses. It is also well-documented that unrelenting pain can suppress the immune system. This infusion helps to replace some of the key vitamins that can help provide relief and maintain a better sense of balance and well-being.

Ingredients:

  • Lidocaine
  • Methylcobalamin (B12)
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Glutathione
  • Sodium Bicarbonate

Pre & Post Surgery

Surgery can be a heavy stress on the body. Although it has an incredible, innate ability to heal itself, there are many factors that can contribute to less-than-optimal recovery. These include age, hormone and micro-nutrient deficiencies, environmental toxins, poor diet, lack of exercise, tobacco abuse, and daily stressors. All of these can have an impact on how well you heal. For example, a smoker often requires twice the recovery time compared to a non-smoker. Proper preparation before and after surgery can ensure you have the adequate reserves of vital nutrients needed to speed up the healing process.
