Dr. Joye said, “In selecting Jennifer to become a member of our team, we wanted to bring in a provider whose way of treating patients meshes with our practice’s approach. Her positive personality, professionalism, and dedication to patient education complement our well-established pain intervention practice.”
Ms. Pedersen is a board-certified physician assistant, as denoted by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. She earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at North Greenville University in Greer, SC, and completed her BS in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
A resident of James Island, Ms. Pederson provides patient care with a holistic approach — mind, body, and spirit — which is the same philosophy of care as offered by Dr. Joye and his team at Intervene MD.
Intervene MD specializes in the management of acute and chronic pain. We offer our patients the most advanced and affordable care available. Our goal is to find more effective and less drastic alternatives than prescribing long-term controlled substances. At Intervene MD, we understand how difficult it is for patients with chronic pain and take time to explain pain causes and treatment options. We help people with spine pain, knee, or back pain. We offer regenerative therapies as well as minimally invasive fluoroscopic procedures. With two locations, we have appointments available to meet your needs, whether you are in Mount Pleasant or North Charleston.
